Green Bay Woman Arrested for Battery and Disorderly Conduct in Brown County

Gabriella Alejandra Joya, 28, was arrested in Brown County, Wisconsin, on charges of battery and multiple counts of disorderly conduct. She was booked into custody with a total bond set at $3,000.

Joya, who stands 5’8″ with brown hair and brown eyes, was charged under Wisconsin Statutes 947.01 and 940.19(1), which cover disorderly conduct and battery. Each disorderly conduct charge carries a bond of $1,000, while the battery charge is also set at $1,000. Under Wisconsin law, disorderly conduct is a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine per charge. Battery, as charged under 940.19(1), is a Class A misdemeanor, carrying a maximum penalty of up to nine months in jail and a fine of up to $10,000.

Joya has a history of legal troubles, with multiple prior arrests, including contempt of court, probation violations, and previous charges of disorderly conduct, battery, and obstructing police. Her past charges include a probation violation in 2016 and multiple contempt of court offenses, leading to bonds totaling more than $6,000 in previous cases. Additionally, she was arrested on prior disorderly conduct and battery charges, as well as resisting or obstructing an officer, with a bond of $1,500.

Her case will proceed through the Brown County court system, where prosecutors will consider her criminal history in determining potential penalties. Given her repeated offenses, she could face stricter sentencing, probation revocation, or extended jail time if convicted. Wisconsin law enforcement continues to crack down on habitual offenders, particularly in cases involving violent or disruptive behavior.
