Florida Woman Arrested in Broward County for Community Control Violation Related to Armed Burglary
On February 13, 2025, 24-year-old Cadie Janelle Cate was arrested at a Broward County courthouse in Florida on a felony charge of violating community control (VOCC – FEL). Records indicate that the violation is connected to a prior armed burglary offense. Cate, who stands 5’4″ and weighs 119 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes.
This latest arrest follows a string of legal troubles. In February 2024, Cate was taken into custody by DOC Probation for a probation violation under statute 948.06. Just months before, in November 2023, she was arrested by the Broward Sheriff’s Office for another community control violation, which was also tied to armed burglary of a dwelling, structure, or conveyance. Cate’s legal troubles date back even further, including an out-of-county warrant arrest in March 2023 by the Boynton Beach Police Department.
Her latest arrest underscores the serious consequences of violating court-ordered supervision and the continued legal repercussions from her prior burglary-related offenses.
